Another year has made another difference.
A big one at that!
In a crowd of attention seekers and people oblivious and afraid of solitude
I stand and walk with pride
I have never quite understood why is someone always needed?
Are you so worthless so as to not spend time with yourself for sometime?
You want to charm that girl or be with that guy
But where's your charm, do you charm yourself?
The same place feels so different, so optimistic, so 'how I wanted it'.
But was it just the same and I was not 'how I wanted myself'?
The people,their smile and look at me
It was there,then it changed an now it's back again!
Was precious time lost in understanding why they changed
And also in understanding how I should have?
At peace with myself,at peace with the world!
A compliment is more encouraging,welcome and appreciated
An advice more precious,more constructive
A tantrum,more worthless and ineffective
You always wanted to hear what you wanted to hear
But today you hear everything and then ponder what you want to understand!
If time and tide waited for none
Then should you wait for them?
Yes sometimes, sometimes no
Life does give a second chance sometimes
And then you get it all right!
The first chance was lost but not in vain
For it went for the second to come and you to gain!
